Owner of Hillside Yoga and Wellness LLC

Yoga is the quest to live as our true self, and it's changed my life in ways I never expected. Physically, I'm stronger and more connected to my body. More importantly, I'm both stronger and more flexible mentally and emotionally. I started practicing over 20 years ago, and honestly, it was hard at first, but I kept coming back because of how it made me feel. I completed my teacher training in 2009 and have been teaching ever since.

I'm also a learning and development professional with over 30 years of experience designing and leading adult learning experiences. I'm certified in iRest Yoga Nidra Level 1, and I teach functional and adaptive yoga, along with pranayama (yogic breath work) and meditation. In addition to regular classes, I also provide private sessions for individuals and groups.

What I love most is watching people grow stronger, hearing how they're using yoga to handle stressful situations, and seeing students own their practice — modifying poses to fit their bodies or whatever they need that day. A typical session with me includes mindful awareness, breathwork, yoga poses, and meditation. I love the community we've built here, and I hope you'll find your place in it too.

I fell in love with yoga when I moved to Georgia in 2005. There was something so special about the time spent on my mat, a strength and acceptance that felt like coming home. You'll often hear me say "I want all of us to live more alive." Through my practice — Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathwork), and meditation — I'm constantly working to grow as a person, share what I've learned, and live more alive.

"Yoga is not about being good. It's about being real and whole." Yoganand Michael Carroll

In the summer of 2014, I earned my first certification as a Les Mills BodyFlow instructor and began teaching the yoga-based program at a local gym. In 2016, I completed a 200-hour training at Rubber Soul in Athens, GA to become a Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor. I've been teaching ever since, and in my classes you can expect a mix of strength, breath, and stillness. I want you to leave feeling more like yourself, not less. Can't wait to practice and grow with you.

Hanley Bradfield, RYT

Throughout the years, my yoga practice has taught me that we all deserve to heal, to intentionally enjoy daily life, and to love and be ourselves without conditions. Kundalini Yoga in particular has opened up tools that helped me figure out what meditation really means to me, and showed me what it looks like to take yoga "off the mat" when life throws an unexpected change or challenge my way.

I'm an RYT, Yoga Alliance certified yoga and meditation teacher, sharing that practice with the Hillside Yoga community in LaGrange. I'm also an Occupational Therapy Assistant and certified in foot Reflexology — both shape how I teach and work with clients.

I find real joy in helping people build their own blend of yoga, meditation, breathwork, and other self-care tools — whatever actually fits their life, not a one-size version of wellness. I'm available to work privately, one-on-one or with groups, both in person and online.
